It is with great sadness that we announce the retirement of Lynda Wilder from Hayden Middle School.

Ms. Wilder has been an educator for almost 40 years in the Hayden Community and has touched numerous lives. In recognition of this achievement, Hayden Middle School will host a farewell tea for Ms. Wilder on Sunday, May 18, from   2-4 P.M. at the Hayden Middle School Lunchroom. Please plan to make an appearance during this time frame to let Ms. Wilder know how much she has meant to this community and students. If you cannot attend feel free to email well wishes, pictures from the past (make sure and include the date, names, and occasion), or letters of endearment to:   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Welcome to the Hayden Middle School website!  We will be adding new content, sections and pictures as we have time.  For now, just spend a little time looking around.  Please remember to join our text message list to receive updates, notification of upcoming events, and other announcements.  You can unsubscribe from the list at any time.

Hayden Middle School’s mission statement is “All Hayden Middle School faculty and staff will provide challenging instruction based on current research to every child, every class, every day.” All students deserve the highest-quality education that we can provide. What that looks like has changed drastically over the past twenty years. It is our goal to produce students who are creative thinkers and problem solvers with a clear and familiar understanding of how to use the tools we have provided them with. Knowledge is the means to the end, not the end itself. The end is the coherent application of that knowledge in order to successfully deal with whatever challenges are encountered.
